Binance hack: $6.3 billion stolen, about $3 billion frozen

क्या हुआ

According to Reuters (30 Oct 2026), hackers stole $6.3 billion from Binance. Analysts are calling it the biggest hack in crypto history. Binance said it worked with partners to freeze the affected assets and that about $3 billion has been located so far. Binance did not give the status of the remaining roughly $3.3 billion.

According to blockchain analysis firms TRM Labs and Chainalysis, the hackers were linked to North Korea (this is the firms' assessment, not an official confirmation). TRM said Binance wallets on 10 blockchains were targeted and most of the funds were moved in about 20 minutes. Co-founder Yi He said the exchange would cover "all hacking losses", and Binance expects to resume withdrawals within the next 48 hours. Deposits were not affected.

इसका मतलब

When crypto is kept on an exchange, the exchange holds the keys. If the exchange is hacked, users' money depends on that exchange's security and reserves. This is called "counterparty risk". Companies that issue some tokens, such as stablecoins, can freeze stolen tokens, which is why a large part could be caught this time.

Lesson: after a big hack, many fake links and messages appear in the name of "refund" or "recovery"; trust only official channels. This is for understanding only, not buy/sell advice.

सिर्फ़ समझ के लिए, prediction नहीं। यह buy/sell सलाह नहीं है, ख़बर पढ़कर सीधे trade न करें।
